Geneviève Leclerc: Influences

The winner of Canadian TV's La Voix draws from old- and new-world pop traditions. No French singer escapes the influence of chansoniste Edith Piaf, but Leclerc's emotional sincerity also reflects the rocking melancholy of Canadian duo partner Éric Lapointe.
