Singer/songwriter, guitarist and producer Dudu Tassa isn't your average rocker. Recording since the age of 13, he's poured his ingenuity into music that merges rock and the sounds of the Middle East. Collaborations with stars like Yehudit Ravitz and Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood have marked his career, which hit a turning point with Dudu Tassa and the Kuwaitis, his 2011 reinterpretation of music by his grandfather and great-uncle, the Al-Kuwaiti brothers, who are legends in Iraq. By translating a past threatened by obscurity for modern Israeli audiences, Tassa created his own lasting legacy.
