

Alisa initially found acclaim as a New Wave act stylistically reminiscent of their countrymen Kino. But after a radical reshuffle in personnel, the band's music underwent a paradigm shift, and Alisa returned as a hard-rocking metal outfit. Drawing inspiration from Western bands like Black Sabbath, they pair lyrical intensity with furious riffs, taut rhythms and driving industrial beats—and have become internationally renowned, with an army of devoted followers.
