In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my first musical memories was when my grandmother taught me how to play the recorder and read notes. One of the things that we've done in the lessons that goes with me to this day was when I wrote my own songs and improvised. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Art Blakey, The Jazz Messengers, Ugetsu: Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers At Birdland (Live) [Remastered] Freddie Hubbard, Ready For Freddie Hüsnü Şenlendirici, Trio Chios, Both Sides of the Aegean I chose these three because of the strong personality and character that are being delivered through the music. There's so much vibe and power to them and that really touched me. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Keep It Light!” I was really inspired by the enormous power and vibe that the music of Art Blakey offers. I love feeling that live show energy and power. Keep It Light! offers that special musical element. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I think that it the debut show of my original music in February of 2022. It is so rewarding to have my own work and creation come to life in the form of music. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There's so much left for me. I have just started. I'm going to release my debut album in September of this year (2023) and I'm so excited. After that, I have plans for at least 2 more albums and a few singles lined up.
