Vesta Collide is a metalcore band from Detroit composed of vocalist Mark Pfromm, guitarist-vocalist Jacob Matzkows, guitarist Alex Kuzmanovic, bassist Alex Honeycutt, and drummer Max Santoro. Characteristics of their music include howled vocals, melodic choruses, fast guitar riffs, and rapid drumming. Before forming Vesta Collide, Pfromm, Matzkows, and Honeycutt played together in the Detroit metalcore band Dismember the Fallen, which was active from 2010 to 2014. Revolver Magazine's website premiered the video for Vesta Collide's song "Outreach (The End)" in June 2014. In 2015, the band signed to Stay Sick Recordings, a music label founded by Attila frontman Chris Fronzak. Stay Sick released Vesta Collide's debut album New Obsession in January 2017. The record reached number 20 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart. ~ Benjamin Schulz
