In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest childhood soundtrack loves were actually from TV series: The Muppet Show, Knight Rider, The Amazing Spider-Man, The A-Team, Street Hawk, Airwolf, and The Transformers. Film-wise, I was obsessed with the Ghostbusters soundtrack. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Angela Morley, Watership Down (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Clint Mansell, The Fountain Music from the Motion Picture John Williams, Jaws (The Collector's Edition Soundtrack) The Collector's Edition Soundtrack There are countless film soundtracks that are in my all-time favorite list, and these are 3 of them. The composer's musical choices in Jaws, The Fountain, and Watership Down—and how they enhance the emotionality and storytelling—are breathtaking. Silas Miami & Lana Crowster)” Collaborating with vocalists Silas Miami and Lana Crowster for the Sidney & Friends score was really inspiring. I love all of the themes/cues they sing, but "This Is My Family" is extra special as it ends the film. It was released as a single too. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It was a dream come true to be the composer for 'Dave Stevens: Drawn to Perfection'—the feature documentary about the artist/creator of The Rocketeer—because I'm a lifelong fan of the comic-book character, the film, and Dave Stevens' artistry. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Just to keep composing music for all different projects, mediums, and genres: films, TV, podcasts, theater, etc, and for documentaries, dramas, horror films—the more eclectic, the better. I'm happiest when I'm being creatively challenged.
