Progressive jazz group Common Ground features the combined talents of electric violinists Zach Brock and Tom Wright. Kentucky native Brock resides in Chicago and performs with various ensembles. Wright is a member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Utilizing the rhythm section talents of pianist Jordan Baskin, bassist Mike Arnopol, and drummer Tom Hipskind, the group released its debut album, High Voltage, on Delmark in 2005. ~ Matt Collar
