For his fourth instalment of the Music To Your Ears mix series, London’s Peshay diverts from his jungle and drum ’n’ bass adventures to celebrate some golden club heaters from the ’90s and 2000s. “I’m starting 2024 with music close to my heart—a house classics mix,” the DJ/producer tells Apple Music about a selection that includes Kathy Brown, Basement Jaxx and Mr. Oizo. “I’ve long been a fan of house music, going back to the late ’80s when the sound first became prominent. I started as a house DJ, and I’ve always loved mixing it, right up to today. I really enjoyed putting house classics together, it took me back to the time when these tracks were smashing dance floors worldwide!”
