Go deep with this set of hypnotic house from US legend Josh Wink. “I started the mix thinking I was going to go in one certain musical direction but it headed in another,” he tells Apple Music about a set comprised largely of his own productions. “It’s one of the cool things about the spontaneity of live mixing. I ended up featuring all but two tracks from my own personal catalogue—some new tracks such as ‘San Guine’ and ‘Pan Gloss’ off my debut Freerange EP [The Half Full EP , due 26 May], and then some Wink classics like my remix of Jimpster’s ‘Alsace & Lorraine’ and Jimpster’s remix of my ‘Jus Right’ off my 2009 When a Banana Was Just a Banana LP. I had fun showcasing the different sides of my production styles on this mix, keeping it heady, hypnotic and on the deeper side, without getting too head over heels, as I like to do at times.”
