Editors' Notes With 1981’s White Wedding, Shalom Hanoch took a sharp left turn. Boosted by a production team of Louis Lahav and Jaroslav Jakubovič and a new backing band, he delivered a set of heavy, rocking tunes dealing with his recent divorce, alienating many of his fans at the time. In the subsequent decades, these deeply personal songs became some of Hanoch’s most beloved—and staples of his live shows.
