This album is part one of a comprehensive collection of Israeli nursery rhymes, sung by some of the top local artists of the '80s and early '90s. Although the majority of the songs on 100 Shirim Rishonim, Pt. 1 are short—many don't cross the one-minute mark—they leave sweet impressions. After all, poets such as Bialik and Levin Kipnis wrote the lyrics. Upbeat and humorous arrangements are enhanced by some cute sound effects, and will surely have every toddler jumping for joy.
