When a 16-year-old Dutch producer remixed Nathan Goshen's summery, guitar-dappled single "Thinking About It", its success opened up a whole new world to the Israeli singer/songwriter. On 30, Goshen returns home, with 10 beautifully crafted pop songs produced by the equally accomplished Gilad Shmueli. The record embraces a variety of moods: "26" rides on a pulsing beat and a trancey synth; "Ze Shelanu" hits a laidback groove punctuated by an unexpected banjo solo, and "Hikiti" builds from a piano-led confessional to an exhilarating climax.
