Ramat Hasharon's Haim Moshe was already a major voice in Israeli music when he released Hatmunot Sheba'album in 1998, but it helped him cement his place among the upper echelons of Mizrahi stars. Cuts like the rousing, Latin-influenced "Senorita" and the swooning new wave pop hit "Aisha" spiced things up, but the album largely focuses on Moshe’s dependably passionate vocals and tastefully produced pop-rock—with plenty of swirling Mizrahi guitar licks.
