![Zhang Ya Dong: The Producers](/assets/artwork/1x1.gif)
Zhang Yadong has been hailed as China's "golden producer," and rightly so. Parlaying influences as disparate as British electro-rock and global pop of the ‘60s into a unique sound that shaped Chinese music from the ‘90s onward, he helped to craft a globally aware, rhythmically complex flavor of Mandopop—attracting admirers as diverse as Faye Wong and Han Hong, Underground Baby, and Wang Feng.
