The King's Singers Essentials

Just because The King's Singers have scholarly roots in Cambridge, doesn't mean they can't also have fun. Of course, they do early English music proud, too, as with their rendition of Thomas Tallis' “Spem in Alium” (perhaps we could agree to file “Bridge Over Troubled Water” between those two poles). No matter the programme, the group's ensemble sound is a crisp, proper delight.
