Omarion Essentials

Omarion Essentials

Omarion's easy charm first became apparent on “Bump, Bump, Bump”, which he sang as a member of boy band B2K. Reverent and lustful, the tune features his then-teenage voice sliding easily from gentle to raspy to carnal. That's the nature of Omarion's appeal: He's an accessible, contemporary R&B sensualist who can both convey emotional devastation (the Timbaland-produced breakup tune “Ice Box”) and personalise a double entendre (“O”) while avoiding sexual gratuity in favour of genuine, solicitous mood-setting.
