Fredo has brought hard-won experience to the grime scene, breaking big out of London's notoriously tough Mozart Estate. He first hit in late 2016 with his single “They Ain't 100”, a drum-heavy banger that boasts of his drug-dealing and the riches he's acquired. This is where Fredo thrives most, weaving gritty street tales that are sometimes cautionary—like the sombre “Avenues”—but he can also be simply bold, defiant and honest (check out the club-ready “Trap Spot”). His flow is diverse, too, meshing with JME, Frisco and Yxng Bane on a remix of “Dun Talkin'”, where they effortlessly trade punchlines.
