Burning Spear has always been one of reggae's most faithful Rastafarians, and his spirituality comes through in his music. "Jah No Dead", an experimental track even by his standards, sets a tenderly sung tribute to God and Marcus Garvey against the crashing sound of waves and a mysterious whistle. "Jah Kingdom" adds a backbeat and some vintage '80s synthesisers for a dance-friendly ode to omnipotence.
