Keen to embrace '60s pop legacy as much as explore new ground, Malaysian singer/songwriter and guitarist Aizat Amdan finds adventure in carving out identity. Pursuing collaborations with acclaimed local indie talent such as Borneo-born Zee Avi, he also draws on The Strokes and Paul McCartney, trading rock blueprints for melodic intimacy.
