In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad played guitar and drums often multiple times a week. He almost had his band altogether in his warehouse. I took the opportunity to jam with the guitarist while I drummed some breaks with earphones. I was 8 when I felt the thrill of live punk. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Diplo, Jack Ü, Skrillex, Skrillex and Diplo present Jack Ü G Jones, The Ineffable Truth Shades, In Praise of Darkness Jack Ü was one of the first acts that I got to see, that I was already familiar with. G Jones, The Ineffable Truth came to me at a transformative time, when I had decided to take music production serious. Shades' album progressed EDM during pandemic. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Nuro” This song was the first I had ever played on speakers for a group of listeners. I hadn't completed the track, but I was still given the impression that they enjoyed it. I played off of that when I completed it. I am about to release a remaster. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Beginning a collaboration project with my father has given me a vision. Going to Bonnaroo with him was an experience of a lifetime. I got to see my favorite acts, Eprom and G Jones with him. That was following our decision to make music together. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to bring electronic music festivals back to New Orleans. Voodoo Fest and BUKU Fest have both ended their contracts with the state since 2022. We will miss the space City Park provided (City Park keeps turning park into road developments).
