About Ram Miriyala
Telugu singer and composer Ram Miriyala expertly introduces playful English wordplay and insightful commentary on modern romance into his many film music projects. • Miriyala, who hails from Andhra Pradesh, initially worked in the corporate world, then became as a producer at a radio station in Hyderabad. • The move led him to co-found the reggae-leaning band ChowRaasta in 2019. • Miriyala earned the nickname Chowraasta Ram when he sang the comical takedown “What A Man” for 2021 film Vivaha Bhojanambu. • The vocalist has earned acclaim for songs like “Chitti” and “Puttene Prema”, the latter in which he scatters modern technology references into a romantic tune. • He was tapped for 2019 comedy flick Brochevarevarura, where he sang with others on the uptempo “Vagalaadi”.
