In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first musical memory is of my grandmother playing the piano. She would play "La Plagaria de una Virgen" (The Prayer of a Virgen, composed by Tekla Badarzewska). I was six years old and she inspired me to take piano lessons. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Berliner Philharmoniker, Kirill Gerstein, Kirill Petrenko, Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto No. 2 Gal Costa, Gal Costa Gianandrea Noseda, London Symphony Orchestra, Seong-Jin Cho, Chopin: Piano Concerto No. 1 & Ballades My father's favorite piano concerto was Rachmaninoff's #2 and he played it often. The first LP I ever bought with my own money was the Chopin Piano Concerto #1. My cousin vacationed in Brazil and brought back this Gal Costa album and I fell in love. Tell us why you chose this song. “Twilight Stars” This song, from my first album, has always been one of my favorites. I really feel that I achieved more than just simple harmonies with the supporting strings and wove different melodies together into an almost cinematic score feeling that builds. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Releasing my first album and actually earning streaming revenue. Making money (although not a large amount) doing the things I love is one of the greatest things! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to have other people perform my work in a concert setting. I had been setting up to do this before the pandemic but that put that effort on the back burner and since then I have moved to a new area and will have to make new contacts.
