About Knacker
Knacker appeared on the pop music scene from out of a middle class community in Ontario, Canada called Oakville. While not exactly a hot bed for new music, this sub-suburban enclave generated a creative environment for young musicians, among them three young lads, Petey-Komet on bass and lead vocals, Stellar-Dean on lead guitar and Gerry G-Force on drums, who had spent their formative teen years writing songs and searching for that ultimate sound.Traversing genres from punk to folk pop and modern alt-rock, Knacker settled on a frenzied, punk-pop style for their fast-selling, self-produced debut EP. A full-length disc, with Krisjan Leslie producing, was expected by late 1999. ~ Roxanne Blanford
