Classical guitarist John Oeth has studied with multiple world-renowned musicians, including Frank Koonce, Michael Patilla, and Lily Afshar. ∙ Oeth’s side-project, Petrichor Duo, performed at the funeral service of US Senator John McCain. ∙ Fronimo, his 2019 album, featured guitar-based arrangements of 16th century lute compositions by Vincenzo Galilei, father of the astronomer and physicist Galileo Galilei. ∙ His 2020 Final Fantasy Guitar Collection is a unique interpretation of music heard in the Final Fantasy video games.
