From working as street musicians to singing at the opening ceremony of the 2015 Southeast Asian Games, it’s been quite the journey for Singaporean indie band HubbaBubbas, whose fateful meeting at school kickstarted their career. The trio blend elements of beatboxing, R&B, synths, acapella, funk and jazz that are rooted in acoustic guitar with tight harmonies, creating a scene-shaping statement.
