About Bad Touch

Taking their cue from acts like Bad Company, Led Zeppelin, and Black Crowes, the English quintet Bad Touch serves up Southern-tinged, bluesy hard rock on albums like 2018’s Shake a Leg. Bad Touch formed in 2009 in Norfolk while still at college. Comprising Stevie Westwood (vocals), Rob Glendinning (guitar), Daniel "Seeks" Seekings (guitar/vocals), Michael Bailey (bass), and George Drewry (drums/vocals), the band put out their first EP Born to Please in 2012. Later that year they won the Exposure Music Award for their live show; an early indicator of the band's commitment to gigging. In 2013 they toured with the Quireboys and won the Marshall Ultimate Band Contest before making their debut at Download Festival in 2014. Just a year later their debut record, Half Way Home, appeared and they hit the road throughout the U.K. in support of the album. They wasted little time in creating a follow-up, and their sophomore effort, Truth Be Told, was released in 2016. Over the next couple of years, the band began work on their third full-length and signed with Marshall Records. Released in 2018, Shake a Leg was produced, engineered, and mixed by Andy Hodgson. ~ Bekki Bemrose
