Kahitna has been an institution on the Indonesian pop scene for close to three decades, supplying the soundtrack to generations of young men and women through love and betrayal. The band rose to prominence in the '90s providing sweet love songs with intricate harmonies in an exceptionally grand set up, a nine-piece band—including three vocalists and a music director. Although at first listen Kahitna may sound like a boy band, their musical subtlety ensures an emotional depth that reaches straight into the heart.
