A heavy band with a heavy name, Thailand's Ebola play their instruments as if the world was crashing down with them onstage. Riding a fiercely sludgy groove from the rhythm section, the group's distorted guitars chug and howl into a frenzy. Still, against all odds, even Ebola have a softer side, with intricate acoustic fretwork that stands out, both when paired with aggressive anthems and with bittersweet ballads.
