B.J. Thomas Essentials

B. J. Thomas' easygoing, country-pop style made him a fixture on the U.S. singles charts in the late ‘60s and most of the ‘70s. Starting with a Hank Williams cover, he scored a run of hits, including the Oscar-winning Burt Bacharach theme for Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid. When the pop hits stopped coming around 1980, he turned to Christian music and won numerous awards for his gospel and inspirational songs. In 2013 he returned to the country charts with The Living Room Sessions, remaking his hits with the likes of Vince Gill and Lyle Lovett.
