In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a young child, I remember listening to a church choir for the first time. All the voices together sounded to me like a magical "dough" made of sound. At that moment I felt a warm energy in my body that would guide my life forever. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Guinga, Cheio De Dedos João Bosco, João Bosco Ao Vivo - 100ª Apresentação Steve Vai, The 7th Song Since I was a child I loved musicians who would cross the musical boundaries commonly suggested in their time. These three artists I mentioned inspired me not only for their music but also for their courage, innovation, and originality. Tell us why you chose this song. “Quintal de Galinha” The album "From Home" was recorded remotely, in a time of uncertainty during the 2020 pandemic. Rafael was in Hawaii and I was in New Jersey. Without any arrangements, we just jammed over rhythmic grooves with guitar and cavaquinho. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Winning the "Dreamcatcher guitar contest" by the guitarist Lee Ritenour. I was raised listening to his music and being able to receive this recognition meant a lot to me. I also started a partnership with Yamaha Guitars after this contest. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Even though I have performed with important artists on the scene, I'm still on the path to making my music be heard by a wider audience. It would mean a lot to me as an artist to have many listeners and fans of my music.
