About Robert Lamoureux

In 1951, Robert Lamoureux made his acting debut in Le Roi des Camelots. Subsequent films from the 1950s in which he appears include Allô...Je T'aime (1952), Papa, Maman, la Bonne et Moi... (1954), Rencontre à Paris (1956), and Signé Arsène Lupin (1959). In the 1960s Lamoureux directed and acted in a couple relatively unsuccessful films before leaving the French cinema in favor of the theater. He returned to the cinema temporarily in the mid-'70s, during which time he wrote, directed, and starred in the films Mais où Est Donc Passée la Septième Compagnie? (1973), Impossible...Pas Français (1974), On a Retrouveé la 7e Compagnie (1975), and Opération Lady Marlène (1975). ~ Jason Birchmeier
