Lauren Scott

Harpist Lauren Scott is notable for the variety of harps she plays in performance and on recordings, including, often, the lever harp or Celtic harp. In the late 2010s, she added composition to her roster of talents, and she is the author of several manuals for playing the lever harp. Scott is the author of Adventures for Lever Harp, Books 1 and 2. Scott's turn to composition also resulted in the beginning of her recording career: in 2020, she released her debut album, Beyond the Horizon. The album featured Scott's compositions for lever harp and also included works by John Cage and Peter Maxwell Davies. Scott returned with her sophomore album, Sea of Stars, in 2024. That year, she also appeared on the album Richard Pantcheff: Chamber Music, Vol. 1.
