D’MASIV

Arguably the biggest band to break out during the wave of melancholic, lovelorn pop in the late 2000s, Jakarta-based D’MASIV struck gold with their 2008 debut, Perubahan, featuring the massive hit single “Cinta Ini Membunuhku”. The following year saw the release of Perjalanan and with it “Jangan Menyerah”, an anthem for lost souls that further showcased the vocal prowess of frontman Rian Ekky Pradipta. Meanwhile, 2016’s “Di Bawah Langit Yang Sama” visited more upbeat terrain and served as the official soundtrack of Malaysian animated feature BoBoiBoy.
