About CIX

CIX is a K-pop boy band formed by the South Korean music company C9 Entertainment in 2019. Their name is an acronym meaning “Complete in X”. • The band debuted in 2019 with the single “Movie Star”, off the EP Hello Chapter 1: Hello, Stranger. They’ve since released three additional Hello Chapter EPs. • On their second single, 2019’s “Numb”, the five-member group addresses hardships experienced by youth, including things like mental health, academic stressors and suicide. • Member Bae Jin-young was formerly part of Wanna One, the temporary boy band formed in 2017 after the second season of the television competition series Produce 101. • CIX recorded “Win” as the ending theme song for the 2020 animated television show The God of High School. • The band has released original music in Japanese, including their 2021 single “All For You”.
