3rd Faze

Hailing from Orlando, FL, the teen pop trio 3rd Faze consists of members Halie Clark, Minia Corominas, and Sara Marie Rauch. Taking their name from the three phases in life (which would be the past, the present, and the future), the group came together when Healthsouth CEO Richard Scrushy decided to put together an all-female band to perform on the Go For It! Roadshow (an interactive and educational tour promoting healthy lifestyles for teenagers). Signing with the Edeltone label, such big name producers as Desmond Child (Ricky Martin) and Carl Sturgen/Evan Rogers (Britney Spears) were brought in to help shape the sound of 3rd Faze, resulting in their self-titled debut album, issued in September of 2001. ~ Greg Prato
