About June Tabor
One of the greatest interpreters of traditional British folk music, June Tabor, who first gained public attention in the early 1970s, is also noted for bringing the work of modern writers to the folk repertoire. Her powerful, instantly recognizable voice has enabled her to work with a who's who of British folk musicians, including Fairport Convention, the Oyster Band, Martin Simpson, and the great Martin Carthy.
