About ItaloBrothers

The German DJ and production trio ItaloBrothers started out making Italo dance before shifting to other sounds, including hands up, jumpstyle and EDM. They’re best known for singles like 2009’s “Stamp on the Ground” and 2017’s “Summer Air”. • The group formed in Nordhorn, Germany, initially drawing influence from Italian dance music producers like Gabry Ponte of Eiffel 65 and Gigi D'Agostino. The lineup consisted of producers Christian Müller and Zacharias Adrian and singer Matthais Metten. • In 2009, they scored a major European hit with “Stamp on the Ground”. As of 2021, the song’s music video had amassed more than 118 million views. • Their 2010 debut album, Stamp!, includes previously released singles like “Stamp on the Ground” and their popular 2007 cover of Mike Oldfield’s 1980 pop-rock favourite “Moonlight Shadow”. • With 2012’s “My Life is a Party,” ItaloBrothers notched their first German hit. The track peaked just outside the Top 40, as did 2013’s “This Is Nightlife”. • In 2015, Hanno Lohse, aka Cody Island, joined the group. • ItaloBrothers took a more commercial direction on 2017’s “Summer Air”. The tropical earworm went gold in Canada and triple platinum in Norway.
