About Kemper Norton

Referring to his style as "slurtronic," experimental artist Kemper Norton blends found sounds and messy drones with British folk influences, creating aural collages portraying his surroundings as well as scenes from his childhood. After initially surfacing during the early 2010s with a series of digital releases, his first vinyl EP, Lowermoor, and debut CD, Carn, were both issued in 2013. Manchester-based Front and Follow issued Norton's 2014 album Loor (which came with a bonus CD, Salvaged), as well as 2016's Toll. Hungan was digitally self-released in 2017. ~ Paul Simpson
