Osaka's Scandal may have started as a high school band, but they've become one of the fastest-rising female rock groups in Japanese history. Their stadium-filling numbers have made them favourites on video game and anime tracks and have earned them an avid international following. Scandal's classic sound combines fuzzy ‘70s-inspired riffs and shout-along choruses, but they've also ventured into new territory, bringing in famed electro-pop producer Yasutaka Nakata to give their songs a club-ready sheen.
