A German pop music group oriented toward children, Wir 3 parlayed their airtime on the German television station Super RTL into a commercially successful recording career. Founded in 2007 and affiliated with the children's television show Toggo on Super RTL, the trio is comprised of Vera, Linda, and Lina. They released their debut single, "Heyah Mama," in 2007 and saw it become a minor hit throughout the German-language world, and their follow-up single, "Kuma He," was also a minor hit. In 2008 they released another single, "Omi Ist der Hit," as well as their full-length album debut, Wir 3; both proved popular, particularly in Austria, where the single went Top Ten and the album went Top Five.
