Around kindergarten or first grade, I would spend countless hours in my room, listening to my favorite bands at the time. (Nirvana, Green Day, Pearl Jam to name a few) While listening, I imagined, one day, becoming a songwriter and recording artist. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? B.G., Checkmate Korn, Follow The Leader Nirvana, Bleach Deluxe Edition Bleach is an album that inspired me to become a musician in the early years. Korn & JD have been a significant influence on me as an artist, songwriter, and vocalist. B.G. & Cash Money influenced me to become a producer & rapper, Checkmate, classic. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Total Recluse” Total Recluse was the first release I made as CHXSR. This was the first crossover record I wrote when I started to fuse what I was doing in rap with the rock influences I had since an early age. This song was the foundation for everything to come. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Overall, the creation process is what I am most passionate about. The most memorable part thus far has to be the trip to LA with my team, when we filmed the music video for Carless in the Hollywood Hills. This was my first large scale production. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The journey is only beginning, so there are so many things left on the bucket list as an artist. This is a good question... I will have to film a VLOG to do it justice in 2024.
