I swear I thought the house was on fire, but she was telling me to turn on HBO. Janet Jackson's 'Velvet Rope Tour' special was on and my life was forever changed. Blood Orange, Cupid Deluxe Brandy, Afrodisiac Janet Jackson, The Velvet Rope These 3 albums are at the core of what shaped my sound. Tell us why you chose this song. “Company” "Company" is the perfect song that embodies me as not only an artist, but a person. It's soft & sweet, but also aggressive & very bold. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being able to collaborate with Dawn Richard. She's one of my biggest influences & someone very dear to my heart. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There's a lot left on my list that I want to accomplish! I would love to perform at Coachella, collaborate with more of my favorite artists, & win a grammy, just to name a few.
