In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember seeing my father up on stage playing with his band. The place was loud, smokey, the vibe was right, the people were having a blast. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Avenged Sevenfold, Avenged Sevenfold (Bonus Track Version) Soilwork, The Living Infinite Trivium, Shogun (Special Edition) Each of these albums played a part in developing who I have become as a musical artist today. From leading me into heavier music, to showing me how to create brutal masterpieces, and eventually teaching me to step outside of my comfort zone. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Defiance” I remember writing this song in my apartment bedroom at college. It was an insignificant day, nothing special other than I had an idea that just felt right in my gut. To know that song has now been streamed / played a few million times is just wild. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being able to work with John Moyer, the bass player of Disturbed. That band has always been a huge influence growing up. They were my first step in the heavier direction and I remember jamming their CDs as a kid. Work with him was amazing Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Plenty. We'd love to continue to tour and get out as much as possible and meet fans all over the world who have supported us and our music. We have much more to share with you.
