Part of the legendary Bad Boy Records lineup, harmony trio Total got their start providing backup vocals as the label was beginning its rise. Releasing their debut album in '96, they rocketed to R&B stardom thanks to a series of slick hits that bumped to a mix of hip-hop style, soulful hooks and cutting-edge beats. Working mostly with Puff Daddy and his legendary production crew The Hitmen, Total released one more studio effort before splitting in '00, but reunited in '12 as fierce and funky as ever.
