Jory Boy Essentials

Fernando Sierra, a.k.a. Jory Boy, was born in Puerto Rico but grew up in New Jersey, honing his craft as a reggaetón lyricist as one-half of the duo Nova y Jory. When the duo split amicably in 2012, Jory Boy threw himself into releasing singles and collaborating with hot shots like Ñengo Flow. (He also called on his first cousin Zion, of Zion & Lennox, for help.) The hard work paid off, and Jory has released a string of albums, starting with 2015’s Matando La Liga, that have seen him trade verses with renowned hitmakers like Wisin, Farruko and Maluma, most notably on the danceable 2017 Bad Bunny collab “No Te Hagas”.
