Tito Rojas Essentials

Romantic crooner Tito Rojas is one of salsa's most dramatic stars. He got his start in the '70s by joining legendary percussionist Pedro Conga's orchestra in Puerto Rico. Going solo in the early '80s, Rojas scored a string of fiery hits. If that didn't keep him busy enough, he was also the show-stopping vocalist for tropical superstar Luisito Ayala's long-running Puerto Rican Power orchestra. Departing from P.R.P. in '91, Rojas continued to light up tropical clubs by mixing dynamic and danceable grooves with sultry ballads.
