The Distillers Essentials

Explosive frontwoman Brody Dalle founded The Distillers in 1998, and the L.A. punk outfit quickly earned a reputation as a ferocious live act. Their self-titled debut dropped in 2000; their second album, Sing Sing Death House, followed that same year, and was re-released in 2002 as the band gained notoriety. 2003's Coral Fang saw The Distillers move in a more polished, radio-oriented direction while still maintaining that punk edge. In 2006, Dalle and guitarist Tony Bevilacqua announced their disbandment, then later reunited with the formation of Spinnerette.
