It's hard to believe that John Farnham's remarkable career—he's one of Australia's most successful solo artists—goes all the way back to 1968, when the former teen idol scored his first hit with "Sadie (The Cleaning Lady)”. Since then he's done it all, including fronting the Little River Band in the early '80s and spending the next three decades selling out stadiums. His 1986 smash Whispering Jack is considered a classic, winning him six of 19 total ARIA Awards. Farnham's heartfelt vocals and feel-good rock 'n' roll has made him an Australian national treasure.
