Huey Dunbar Essentials

Huey Dunbar Essentials

Born into a musical family, Huey Dunbar seems to have performance in his blood. The Puerto Rican singer first hit it big as the lead vocalist for the group Dark Latin Groove, a fusion project that melded influences like reggaetón, hip-hop, and salsa that made a major impact on the Latin music scene. After the band split in 2000, Dunbar embarked on a solo career with his 2001 debut, Yo Si Me Enamore. The record soared up the tropical/salsa charts, paving the way for a career that would include bachata and bolero influences.
