Horace Andy Essentials

Singer Horace Andy's haunting voice has granted him an exceptionally long career that reaches from the early ‘70s to the present, and includes collaborations with countless major reggae artists and trip-hop act Massive Attack. Andy began recording as a teenager but didn't score a hit until the '70s. His success allowed him to experiment with many of Jamaica's top producers and artists, including Bunny Lee and Dennis Brown. Andy's adaptive style allowed him to move smoothly into dancehall and lovers rock; in the ‘90s, he collaborated with Massive Attack, which introduced him to a new audience.
